One of the members of an elite list I like to call “the greatest things to have come out of Canada” (together with maple syrup – I said it was elite*), the New Pornographers, are set to release their next (and fifth!) studio album in May. Hoorah!

So they’re released their first single, “Your Hands (Together)”, for free.

The singer in The Submarines, Blake Hazard, is the great granddaughter F. Scott Fitzgerald. HOW COOL IS THAT? jealous. That must be fairly daunting though. Being such a close relation, would you be expected to do great things?
