Day 8: Tender is the Night

Self-portraits are so depressing to take but I’ve run out of people to shoot. To go along with the “lost generation” theme, it was either this or the photos I took of the people taking photos of the apple store on their iPhones.

Day 7: The Old Man and the Sea

I struggled to get a decent shot for The Old Man and the Sea. Times have changed since Ernest Hemingway wrote about the struggle between man and nature, humans are now so efficient at benefiting from their natural elements that you don’t have to worry about fishing, gutting, and cooking, let alone the battle between man and beast.
